The 10th international conference at the Queluz National Palace will take place between 8 and 10 of July and it is organized by DS-CEMSP in partnership with CMBV, in the context of the Saison France-Portugal – Temporada Portugal-França promoted by the Institut Français and the Portuguese Prime Minister will study how the circulation and the international exchange of composers, librettists, singers, musicians, theatrical architects, costume designers in 17th and 18th -century Europe modified the taste, creating new artistic expressions.

Aulegrafia, from Jorge Ferreira de Vasconcelos
Presentation of the 16th century comedy Aulegrafia, by Jorge Ferreira de Vasconcelos, within the scope of the Portuguese Classical Theatre Laboratory, promoted by Silvina Pereira and Júlio Martin.The performance will take place in the Cloister of Igreja da Graça, in Lisboa, from 7 to 24 of July, 2022 (Wednesday to Sunday), at 9 pm.
The Parque Mayer Fair opened on 15th June 1922, to revive the old fairgrounds of the capital, according to the demands of modern times. Bordering on Avenida da Liberdade, a new space was born, with food, drinks, and entertainment, including theatres. The Maria Vitória was inaugurated that same year, on the 1st of July. In the following years, three more theatres opened: Variedades (1926), Capitólio (1931) and ABC (1956).
