The Casa Aberta [Open House] doors opened in October. Vera Mantero and Ana Pais introduced the sessions as follows:
“How to use the voice, writing, breathing and free association to arrive at the movements, actions, structures and desires to compose that are within us? How to explore some of them separately in order to incorporate them later in longer or more complex improvisation or even compositional processes? How to convey our questions, our methods of composition, our urgent needs and our ways of questioning the world so that they make sense to others? In this workshop, we would like us, as a group, to share and discuss ways of doing and thinking about choreographic composition and transmitting knowledge. Irony and empty hands will take us even further.”
