This international conference is part of theater genetics, an emerging field of study in the field of the performing arts that allows us to think about the creative process as a work.
Founded on a consortium of five European universities and a theater (Rennes 2 University (FR) (coordinating institution), University of Antwerp (BE), University of Lille (FR), University of Lisbon (PT), University of the Peloponnese (GR) and Théâtre National de Bretagne (FR)), ARGOS is devoted to the observation and analysis of creative processes on a European scale. Its particularity lies in the creation of new communities of observers, composed of five categories: researchers, artists, cultural mediators, spectators and students.
This conference presents the results of the five experiments in observing creative processes conducted in Europe from 2018 to 2021. What is observing a creative process? What is the impact of observation on creative processes? Which communities of observers for which knowledge sharing?
The European collaborative research-creation program ARGOS is co-financed by the European Union through the Creative Europe Program (2018-2021).
Registration is free and subject to availability. The Zoom link will be sent to you after your registration one week before the congress. The languages of the conference are French and English.
