Centro de Estudos de Teatro (FLUL) and Companhia Mascarenhas-Martins joined efforts for the first time in 2017 in order to promote a public discussion about how the dimensions of creating and producing are put into pratice. That first meeting was published in a bilingual book: Criar e Produzir / Creating & Producing. Given that in 2020 it was impossible to put together a presential meeting, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a number of interviews with artists and producers was recorded and transformed into an e-book.

The return to the original framework only took place on the 18th of July 2021 in Setúbal, at Casa da Cultura, with support from Setúbal Municipality and the participation of:

The e-book based on the edited transcription of that day’s discussion will be presented on the 30th of November, from 16h on, at Sala B112.B in FLUL’s Library. From them on it will be available for free download.
