CET, together with the Theatre Studies Programme, organised the course, “Iniciação à Escrita Sonora”, which ran from 2nd May between 2 and 6 pm to 3rd May between 9 am and 1 pm in Room 2.2 at FLUL.
The course was a workshop aiming to discover the possibilities of writing on a sound-based experience. What forms of register? What narrative aesthetics? What formats? With what purpose?
An important component was practical work by students with their available tools: small recorders or mobile phones. Students also needed a laptop to pass the sound to dossiers and start editing, with the help of a free programme.
The course was taught by Séverine Leroy, who received her PhD in Theatre Studies in January 2015, for her dissertation “L’œuvre théâtrale de Didier-Georges Gabily: poétique d’une mémoire en pieces”. She teaches and is a researcher Theatre Studies at Rennes Univ. 2.
Enrolment was free at: estudos.teatro@letras.ulisboa.pt.
