LABORATÓRIO PARA O ATOR – por Bruno Schiappa

Training, recycling and development space for actors, actors in training or beginning of their careers and people who seek their expression through the Art of the Actor. Directed by Bruno Schiappa

Foreigners are welcome.

Fridays February 3 through late July with informal, public performance in July.

11 am to 1 pm (physical work based on Physical Theater and Sensory Work)
2 pm to 4 pm (sensory work applied to scenes)
Location: Inatel Mouraria Gym – Rua da Mouraria, 64, 4th floor (Amparo Building)
Monthly fee: €80
Single lesson: €25

Bruno Schiappa is a PhD Researcher at CET/ULisboa, Master in Theater Studies at FLUL and Graduated at ESTC in Theatre, Actors and Directors branch. He specialized in The Method techniques with Marcia Haufrecht of the Actors Studio in NY, Manhattan and reigns in Physical Theater with Sergei Ostrenki and Thomas Mettler. He was trained in Classical Ballet with Igor Ivanov and Voice/Singing with Maria João Serrão. He was a member of the Canadian theater company Pigeons International from 2001 to 2008. He has been working on stage, cinema and tv, both nationals and internationals. He coached Ana Sofia, Sofia Escobar, Sofia Aparício, Heidi Berger, Ricardo Trêpa, Sandra Santos, Sónia Balacó and Mafalda Marafusta, among other. He also gave Joana de Verona, Raquel Castro, Estêvão Antunes, Bruno Vicente and Marta Borges, a full 3 year program training for the Actor.
