The importance of personal choices and the stimulation of sensory memory in the actor's artistic signature. From various stimuli of sensory memory, the work I share, based on the techniques of The Method, by Lee Strasberg, with variants by Marcia Haufrecht (New York Actor' Studio) and Bruno Schiappa's journey during the uninterrupted training for the Actor, on the Physical Theater by Eugenio Barba, Thomas Metler and Sergei Ostrenko, who has always accompanied me, leading to new references and crossings of many others, the participant will have the possibility to deepen the text/character relationship from a physical point of view, whose actions stimulate the psychological and emotional planes. In the program its is presented, the relationship between gesture and music and sounds will also be addressed, as in slapstick and in silent film scenes, but without caricature.
The workshop will take place in the Teatro Pólo das Gaivotas, from August 2nd and August 6th, and the opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 11:00 pm and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with an informal public performance in a space to be designated.
The registration fee is €150, 50% paid upon registration and the remainder on the 1st day of the workshop.
