Bruno Schiappa's classes are based on the techniques of Lee Starsberg's Method, as interpreted by Marcia Haufecht, but are transversal to Constantin Stanislavsky's System and Russian Physical Theater. The program also includes movement work (flexibility and rhythm) and vocal work (breathing, support, diction). It is aimed at actors, directors and dancers or people who wish to have training in the arts mentioned above. It can also be attended for issues of disinhibition, social inclusion or improving communication in public (journalists, politicians, public figures and anyone who works with the public. The program has a strong focus on emotional intelligence.
We start the 2nd module in January 2024. It is a recycling program and/or acquisition of new methodologies that will greatly benefit national performers. Especially when it comes to audiovisual work.
After 23 years of working with Marcia Haufrecht, from the Actor's Studio New York, of which 18 years were dedicated to organizing and assisting summer courses taught by her, Bruno Schiappa offers national performers the possibility of continuing a fundamental work that encourages them and provides very useful tools for the various audiovisual markets but also for the stage.
It is an organization by Bruno Schiappa himself, with the added value of being work carried out at the facilities of Companhia Olga Roriz, which is uniquely suited to the seriousness that this type of work implies. With proven experience in the areas of training, performance and staging, artistic and literary creation, Bruno Schiappa has the conditions to continue this international work.
In January, the 2nd module will begin, which will present, in addition to the sensory work applied to scenes, the EMDR tool that stimulates the creation of memories for characters, as well as the continuation of the background work of the sensory sequence.
