The Centre for Theatre Studies (CET) invites you to the launch of the book “Corpos Modernos do palco” by Paulo Ribeiro Baptista, based on theater photography by Silva Nogueira (1920-1930), published jointly by Editora Caleidoscópio, Museu Nacional do Teatro e da Dança (MNTD) and CET, which will take place at Livraria Linha de Sombra - Cinemateca Portuguesa, on May 7 at 6:30 p.m., with the presence of the author and publishers.

This publication is part of the exhibition project dedicated to the work of photographer Silva Nogueira, with the same name, presented in 2022 at the MNTD and the Portuguese Center of Photography, and in 2023 at the Joaquim Benite Municipal Theater in Almada, as part of the activities developed in the Theater and Image research line of the CET.
