The Dramaturgy Laboratory was conceived by Teatro Meridional, in collaboration with CET, and aims to encourage the creation of new texts in Portuguese by promoting a joint venture between writers and a panel of artists and academics in the writing of a text.

This 6th Edition received 58 applications. In accordance with the regulations, the Selection Panel met and chose 2 proposals for writing a theatre text for this edition of the Dramaturgy Laboratory : Os Mortos Também Dançam [The Dead also Dance] by Francisco Gomes e Não restará pedra sobre pedra no mercado de pulgas [No stone will be left standing at the flea market] by Renata Zanete.
