With Cross Pollination

The second edition of the Practices of Encounters Program, is bringing to Lisbon the Cross Pollination Theatre Platform (UK) (DK) and (BE). This event is a realisation of the Centre for Theatre Studies (CET/FLUL) and the acting studio O Canto do Bode, in a partnership with Forum Dança. The Cross Pollination’s core members Andrea Maciel and Patrick Campbell will introduce strategies of performative collaboration, with emphasis on the actor and actress's body, vocal and somatic work. Fundamental aspects of Wolfsohn-Hart Voice work, physical theatre and somatic techniques will be presented, filtered by a collaborative creative ethos inherent to Cross Pollination practice.The workshop will be based on a series of poetics of creation and dramaturgies born from the crossing between different artistic practices. During the laboratory, participants will have the opportunity to explore their vocal bodily expressivity in a safe environment, activate and  share creative devices, learn  new dramaturgical tactics and cultivate a state of presence and connection based on the Cross Pollination research method.
