On April 16, the guest of the Doctoral Seminar of the Program in Theater Studies will be Guilherme Proença. Guilherme Proença, musicologist, is preparing his doctoral thesis at the University of Paris 8 L'espace composable de la scène dans la deuxème moitié du vingtième siècle under the direction of Horacio Vaggione and Anne Sèdes. He is currently working in the musical edition of the Teatro Completo de Eugène Labiche and in the production, direction of actors, musical composition and audio post-production of short films. Of the multiple experiences in the performing arts, he highlights the frequent participation as the director in the opera studios of Carmelo Agnello (Paris 8), the opera staging assistant (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), the puppet theater (Companhia Memórias de São Lourenço ) , music, theater and dance (company Cie-l Brouillé), the writing of concert programs and the interpretation and instrumental and electroacoustic composition.

The Seminar will take place between 14:00 and 17:00 and will take place through the Zoom platform.
