Sinais de Cena - Revista de Estudos de Teatro e Artes Performativas, published by the Centre for Theatre Sutdies of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, is now part of the DOAJ directory (Directory of Open Access Journals), an index of open access journals.

The DOAJ seal ensures that the publications it indexes include academic and scientific quality content, available free of charge in open access, and that the journals' editorial policies follow principles of scientific ethics.

This is another step in the internationalization and recognition of the journal's scientific merit, a journey that is now twenty years old, and which will continue in order to guarantee the authors and readers of Sinais de Cena content that contributes to Theatre and Performance Studies in Portugal and around the world.
