The Centre for Theatre Studies (CET) is now accepting applications by Researchers holding a PhD who wish to have CET as their host institution in the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus – 7th Edition. The Individual Scientific Employment Stimulus is an annual call that directly supports the recruitment of researchers in all scientific fields who wish to conduct their research in Portugal within institutions that are part of the National Science and Technology System (SNCT).
This call is open to PhD holders of any nationality or stateless individuals with expertise in any scientific discipline. Applicants must designate a host institution where they will carry out their research plan. Successful candidates will be employed by the selected host institution with funding provided by the FCT.

Candidates must specify the level/category of researcher they are applying for, choosing between two levels:
• Junior Researcher: PhD holders with 5 years or less post-PhD experience by the application deadline, with limited post-doctoral research experience in the relevant scientific area.
• Auxiliary Researcher: PhD holders by the application deadline with a significant curriculum in the relevant scientific area.
Researchers interested in having the Centre for Theatre Studies (CET) as their host institution should express their interest by submitting the following documents:
- A summarized curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages)
- A brief description of the proposed work plan, aligned with CET’s scientific focus (for detailed information about CET’s scientific activity see https://ceteatro.pt/en/aboutus/ )
These documents (in pdf format) should be sent by email to estudos.teatro@letras.ulisboa.pt until September 30th, 2024.
The acceptance or rejection of applications by the CET will be notified by October 28th, 2024.
