Bio note: Born in Nampula, Mozambique, in 1961, he graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 1984, completed the Italian Language and Culture course in 1990. the Theater course at the Technical University, regular classes at the Actor's Centre, in London, and the study of Lyric Singing. He is fluent in English, French and Italian, and worked as an Actor between 1987 and 2000. In 2001 he founded Karnart CPOAA – a professional structure dedicated to artistic production, creation and research –, where he has been forging a concept that crosses the Performing Arts and the Visual Arts, Perfinst, mirrored in outstanding and award-winning shows (www.karnart.org). He has taught or teaches, as a guest professor, at the Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa, at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha, at the Universidade Lusófona, at the Etic, Restart, World Academy and Cascais School of Arts & Design institutes.
