The first phase of the project ‘18th-Century Theatre: Banned and Censored in Portuguese’ has come to an end; this phase involved researching and collecting unknown 18th-century plays. A total of 75 new, previously unpublished texts from the so-called ‘short theatre’ (entremeses, loas, festas, etc.) were discovered.
