The Centre for Theatre Studies (CET) is delighted to announce the launch of the first episode of the second season of the podcast Tu cá tu lá com a história do teatro, now featuring a new series dedicated to the theme Theatre and Revolution. This season takes as its starting point the work developed within the research project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), PREC.PT – Performance and Theatre in the Ongoing Revolutionary Process (FCT 2023.10644.25ABR), while also seeking to open new horizons for research beyond this specific context.In this inaugural episode, the project and research team are introduced, with an outline of the main objectives and key lines of investigation. The episode also proposes an initial distant reading of the history of theatre in Portugal during the Portuguese Revolution, employing innovative methodologies from the fields of digital humanities and cultural analytics. The episode is now available on the CET website. We hope you will join us on this journey through the history of theatre in times of revolution!
