For the eighth edition of the Práticas de Encontro programming cycle, the Center for Theatre Studies (CET/FLUL) and the acting studio O Canto do Bode are organizing the workshop THEATRICAL ECOSYSTEMS OR THE INTELLIGENCE OF MANGROVES, with Marcela Moura. This workshop aims to develop a transdisciplinary process of investigation and creation that integrates aesthetic, socio-environmental, and political issues, based on the observation of behaviors in complex natural systems such as mangroves. Mangroves function within collaborative networks and demonstrate adaptive intelligence, modifying their structure and processes in response to environmental changes. The complex dynamics of these ecosystems will serve as inspiration for the implementation of a collective, transdisciplinary improvisation process.
