The Permanent Colloquium in Theatre and Performance Studies provides an ongoing forum for the presentation, discussion and exchange of research in the fields of theatre and the performing arts, organised through sessions convened at varying intervals throughout the year. It is dedicated to the presentation of work in progress, the exploration of emerging questions, and the dissemination of research findings, fostering critical dialogue among scholars, artists and students.
The colloquium welcomes visiting researchers in transit, national and international guest speakers, and members of the academic community, operating as an open platform for the sharing of projects, methodologies and diverse theoretical perspectives. By privileging flexible formats and meetings convened in response to the evolving dynamics of research, it supports the circulation of knowledge, the strengthening of scholarly networks, and sustained engagement with contemporary research in theatre and performance studies.
The sessions on 28 and 29 May 2026 will be devoted to the theme of Contemporary Dramaturgies, opening a space for critical reflection on contemporary dramaturgical practices, dispositifs, and modes of writing and theatrical creation.
